Una Lección política

Candidate Obama used most the word “you”, as in you have to take back the reins of government. Reminiscent of John F. Kennedy’s: Don’t ask what the country can do for you, but what you can do for your country. Candidate Clinton, on the other hand, used most the word “I”, as in I am the voice of experience. Reminiscent of a person who talks all night about me, me and me, and at the end of the night, to change the subject, asks: But, what do you think of me?

Una lección de lenguas de la campaña presidencial. La palabra que más ha utilizado el candidato Obama es “usted”. Por ejemplo: Usted debe tomar las riendas del gobierno. Lo que recuerda la frase de John F. Kennedy: No pregunte (usted) qué puede hacer el país por usted sino que puede (usted) hacer por el país. La candidata Clinton, por el otro lado, ha utilizado más la palabra “yo”. Por ejemplo: Yo soy la voz de la experiencia. Lo que recuerda a alguien que habla toda la noche de yo, yo y yo, y al final de la noche, para cambiar el tema, pregunta: ¿Pero, qué piensas tú de mi?
